  • Ashly
    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist

    Ashly has been at the Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic since 2015. She recieved her Associate Degree in Veterinary Science from Northcentral Technical College in 2016. Ashly loves learning and exploring all aspects of veterinary medicine. Her hobbies outside of work are hiking, kayaking, and spending quality time with her dog Bailey.

  • Kristen
    CVT
    Certified Veterinary Technician

    Kristen is our Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT).

    Kristen is a Wittenberg area native and attended Madison Area Technical College where she obtained her associate degree in Applied Sciences in Veterinary Technology in 2011. Kristen actually did her internship required for her degree here at Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic in the summer of 2010. After her graduation she didn’t go far and came back and took a full time position as the CVT here in Wittenberg. Shortly after starting she took and passed her board exam. Kristen enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine but her favorite is preforming dental radiographs and dental cleanings. Kristen shares her home with her husband and her two fur children (cats) Booker and Drake. When she is not working Kristen enjoys spending time with family and friends, biking, cooking, hiking, and traveling.

  • Sadie
    Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
    Sadie graduated from North Central Technical College in 2014 with an Assoiciate's Degree in Animal Science. Shortly after completeing her internship here at Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic Sadie joined our team in October 2014. Outside of work Sadie enjoys the outdoors, horseback riding, family time, and cooking. She shares her growing family with their German shepherd mix (Gunner), two domestic short hairs (Zane and Oliee), and three horses (Bentley, Blue, and Livaleigh).
  • Linda Prososki
    DVM
    Veterinarian
    Dr. Linda is the original owner of Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic-CA for almost 30 years. She is also the owner of Metro Animal Hospital since 2004, and she continues to enjoy working at both clinics. She feels very fortunate to be doing what she has always wanted to do-be a veterinarian. Dr. Linda attended undergraduate school and veterinary school at the Ohio State University. It was there she met her husband, John, who was a year ahead of her in veterinary school. They have four children (all grown) and three French Bulldogs, as well as a dairy farm. Over the years they have had many birds, cats, and dogs, each having a special place in their family. Dr. Linda enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but she has a special interest in surgery and ophthalmology.

  • Frances Andersen
    DVM
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Frances is a central Wisconsin native who returned home to practice after graduating from veterinary school. She enjoys working with people and their pets on a daily basis. She has a strong interest in dentistry and feels a healthy mouth is necessary to overall good health. When away from the office, she keeps busy with her husband and three kids. They enjoy many activities, from camping and geocaching when the weather is nice, to baking and crafting when the weather turns cold.

  • Dawn Vander Linden
    DVM
    Veterinarian

    Dr. Dawn works mainly at our sister clinic Metro Animal Hospital in Weston but you will see her here from time to time when needed for extra hour coverage.

    Dr. Dawn graduated from UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Having worked at a couple different practices, she found her passions to be Emergency Medicine and Ophthalmology. She enjoys watching the Packers, Badgers and Blackhawks. Dr. Dawn lives with her fiance (Joe), dog (Knox) and two cats (Willow and three-legged Moose).

  • Loraine
    Bookkeeper

    Loraine is our bookkeeper and takes care of inventory and ordering. She keeps everything in line and organized! She has been with the Wittenberg Veterinary Clinic since the beginning which is almost 30 years! Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family, watching her grandchildren's extracuricular activities, and gardening.

  • Patti
    Office Manager
    Patti is mainly at our Metro Animal Hospital location but helps out here as needed for various duties. Patti joined the team winter of 2017 and brought with her 25+ year of retail, finanical, and planning background. Patti is a life long resident of the Wausau area and had a strong commintment to giving back to the community. An active board member of the Marathon County Humane Society and volunteers for various non-profit charities. Her adopted kitty Gracie is the newest addition to her life. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, yoga, kayaking, and riding bike across the state.
